Do you want the inside Scoop on Google and the IPO?
Google taking a non-traditional approach to an IPO has posted there Prospectus at http://www.ipo.google.com.
It is actually a very interesting read and as non-traditional as there IPO is, so is the writings of the prospectus. The opening letter of the prospectus explains why Google initiated the IPO the way they did. It also explains that Google and the management of Google fully intend to maintain control of the company and will not allow outside influence to effect the company's creativity. Googles intention is to work for the long term, maintain the soul of the company, and move forward as Google always has.
Opening price seems to be around $120 and if you are feeling adventerous, you to could own a piece of Google history.
