The MyDoom virus was set to attack SCO today and it obviously has done its duties. As much as I dislike what SCO is trying to do, I do not agree with this type of activity. It hurts businesses, it hurts SCO customers who are innocent in all of this and it brings more scrutiny of the internet by government officials.
Will we be happy when the government steps in and starts setting limits? Begins building controls? The internet was built on self-rule and survives by self-rule. But when a few make statements that are so outstanding and so devastating that companies loose millions, what will then be the end result?
