Another Linux Distro Coming, I Think we Should call it the Joint Asian Linux.

China, Korea and Japan are planning to join forces and create a new version of Linux.
Honestly, how can you blame them? If I were the leader of a country, I would not allow Microsoft Windows into any of my governmental computers without first having the source code.
The goal is to create a competing OS against Microsoft Windows which will be used for both governmental and civilian use which in the end will relieve them of the dependency on Microsoft.
Linux is widely used in Asia now. With a joint task force and joint cooperation , Linux will become a product which Microsoft should seriously fear.
Personally, I think Microsoft is buying their time. I would not doubt within the next 3-5 years Microsoft will release the source to Microsoft Windows (With strong licensing) and leave all of there supporting applications closed source. It has to be. If Linux can achieve professional grade desktop performance (in such a way that mom and pop at home can use it), then Linux will begin to sweep the industry.
With Asian countries pulling and focusing resources, we should see some pretty interesting applications coming our way very soon.
