If you have questions, about this device, please send them to me from the "Contact Linux Dig" navigation link. I intend to explore this a little further later on tonight and have a review and pictures tommorrow.
But, for now, the initial impression is that this thing is cool. The base is a dark metalic plastic though it looks like metal and it feels very sturdy. A blue dell emblem glows from the front of the base.
The PDA itself, is light and fits comfortably in my hand. Light Grey frame around the buttons and screen with a satin black back. In case you are wandering about the screen, do not ask, I have not turned it on yet. Not till around 11 tonight.
Some Background Info:
The only other portable device that I have owned was an IBM Z-50 palm top which I played with for about a week before I got bored. But hey, it was only $190. Rob, from impossibilities.com came down to Florida from Philly with his Compaq PDA and was doing some pretty amazing "MACROMEDIA FLASH" things with it and got me turned onto the idea of buying one.
So here we are. So, I will be tearing through this thing as a newbie and see what kind of destruction I can cause to the O/S. Then, see if I can't get Linux installed on it.
Come back tommorrow for more information.
