1. Traffic Shaper for Linux The traffic shaper for Linux configures and adjusts traffic shaper bandwidth limiters. Traffic shaping means setting parameters or limits to which network traffic should conform - that is, setting limitations on bandwidth consumption. See README.shaper for more details. An init script which sets up traffic shaping using class-based queueing is also provided. This can be used to build smart bandwidth shapers which know about TCP/IP. See README.cbq for more details. The kernel support needed to use either of these facilities is described in README.Debian. From Debian 3.0r0 APT
