1. This is the non so versionated parts of the gimp core, aka part that're either build for gimp-1.2.x or gimp-1.3.x. We can handle multiple libgimpX.Y_Z at the same time since they've different version (eg libgimp1.2_1 and libgimp1.2_3) but we can install only one libgimp1.2 at the same time. So come the split From Mandrake 9.0 RPM
