1. SmoothWall was first released to the world in July 2000 as a hardened internet firewall device. Products include Smoothwall Server and Smoothwall GPL. Smoothwall GPL 2.0 beta1 (metro) was released August 28, 2002. Smoothwall GPL 1.0 was released December 10, 2002. Smoothwall 2.0 beta 4 was released January 24, 2003. A 'secured' distribution.
