RAM (Random Access Memory)
1. Memory available for storing data and programs currently being processed. It is automatically erased when the power is turned off. Can be accessed without touching preceding bytes. Intel desktop processors are extensively tested with RDRAM, PC SDRAM or DDR SDRAM, depending on which Intel® chipset is the basis for the system\'s motherboard.
