Non-blocking Level 1 Cache
1. Level 1 (L1) cache is a high-speed storage mechanism that is built into the architecture of a microprocessor. Non-blocking consists of two separate 16 KB L1 caches, one for instruction and one for data to provide fast access to recently used data and instructions.
