Hyper-Pipelined Technology
1. Part of the PentiumŪ 4 processor\'s IntelŪ NetBurstŪ micro-architecture. Hyper-pipelined technology doubles the pipeline depth of the PentiumŪ III processor\'s P6 micro-architecture, increasing the branch prediction and recovery pipeline to 20 stages. The deeper pipeline enables instructions to be queued and executed at the fastest-possible rate, increasing performance, frequency, and scalability.
