Hard Drive
1. Most computers can read and write data to either a hard or floppy disk. The mechanism that reads and writes to hard disk is called a hard drive. Hard disks hold more data and are faster than floppy disks. In addition, hard drives and associated hard disks are generally components within computers; whereas, floppy disk are removable and portable.
