Glitch

1. A momentary power interruption or some other unexpected fluctuation in electronic circuits, such as those caused by power surges or dirty connections, that causes computer systems to generate garbage output or, in the extreme, to crash. A glitch is a hardware problem; software problem is called a bug. From QUECID
