Acoustic Pressure
1. Acoustics refers to the transmission of sound. Sound is produced when the air is disturbed in some way, for example by a vibrating object. Acoustic pressure refers to the fluctuation in air pressure caused by a sound. Alternating high and low, air or acoustic pressure is shown as a sound wave.
